CarMax

Colonie location on NY 5 near Albany

Seeing a commercial for CarMax with MadTV and IC alum Andrew Daly and going by the Henrietta location gave me the idea for the next post.  I might buy a car from them when I get the money.


Cortland - Riverside Plaza, NY 13
Fulton - former Davidson/Fred Raynor Ford, NY 3
Oswego - former Ponderosa, NY 104
Auburn - NY 5 and/or US 20
Oneida - former golf club, NY 5
North Syracuse - Northern Lights (former Christmas Tree Shops), US 11
Lansing - The Shops at Ithaca Mall, former Sears, NY 34 (also across town from Andy D's old stomping ground, even though he has since stopped doing the adverts)
Syracuse - former lowery Bros./Maguire Chrysler Jeep, NY 5

    Not even sure if the Albany store is open yet (it was kind of off & on getting it there).
    Anyhow, it's at the corner of Central Ave. & Route 155 - site of a former Kmart (with attached former Price Chopper) and a Burger King by the road.

    Not sure if there is still room @ LCM for one (after they built the Walmart and a few other shops), but there might be a Kmart spot down Route 2... ;)
